Description The first look at the digimon tag/crest I will be wearing at Anime Evolution this year. I quite enjoy the fact that I used a package of pez as the size reference. This is mine since I wanted mine to get done first! And yes, the crest of courage therefore I am going as Tai. :3

It turned out pretty well seeing as it was my first time making a mold/casting resin. And if my companions that I am going with need them too then i will end up going into a mini mass production (like 7 at most XD)

Wow this is is several years old, but man this is a great crest. I want to make my own since these things are pretty expensive. Even comissioned ones. Awesome job!

If you are going into mass production. I would really like one of your crests. If you are interested please let me know so we can sort something out. How did you make the crest? Keep up with the great work.

Thanks! I am actually rather busy with school at the moment (university takes up one heck of a lot of time). However if/when I have time in the near future I decide to make a few more you will be on the list I made a clay crest and then used that to create a mold from which I made resin casting (which were painted). The crest portion is rather simple as it is just an image that I printed with a thin plastic over top (for shine and protection). If i do produce more I will be attempting to do a cast of the crest portion. The printer version was only done as I ran out of time before a convention. Hope this answered your question!

Me too! Though I'd rather hear all the steps how you made it, considering with all that cosplaying money is something needing to be preserved~

Well considering the materials you would need to make a mold and the resin and everything it may be cheaper to find someone to make one for you. I have seen a couple other people selling tages and such or if you wanted to make your own I would suggest just making one out of clay. Just my thoughts though

That was my plan, but school has been keeping me pretty busy. I'll have to wait and find some time to go to the art department~ I'm pretty good with clay myself, but there's just no time :S

I drew up the crest symbol on my computer so it looked all proper and such, then printed it on cardstock and glued it to a thin piece of . To give it a clear cover on top I used doubled sided tape to attach a piece of plastic over the front of the crest portion (it was just a piece cut up from packaging for a toy ) Then the whole thing was glued onto the plastic tag. I hope that helps! if not I will try and describe it again...but better XD
