Agh, I haven't been able to submit anything since the new year. x.x But I'm on a short break from school so I'll do my best to catch up on my drawings. I've got so much I want to do. *.*

Anyway, this is a project from my Photoshop class. I'm kind of embarrassed to show this, but we were given a short description of a character and had to draw our own version of it. And paint it digitally. >< I've never really colored a picture like this before. I think I'd like to do another one someday.

So yeah, this is my rendition of Nessarose from the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. Interesting book. ^^ (Um, some things may be inaccurate from the novel--like the shawl x.x--but overall I just drew how I pictured she'd look.)

Speaking of which, the play Wicked is coming to our town and I finally get to go see it, hooray. I've been wanting to see it for a long while.

Edit: Oh yeah and she's armless, but it said it was supposed to be less obvious by her shawl.
