In the august this summer with me happened quite silly but very painful accident - I burned my feet on the asphalt.. It was a really hot day (37C degrees) and my shoes were killing me. I don't know what happened with them but they were frictionizing my feet like with nails. when I took the shoes off, I realized that all my feet were bloody and I have two holes from the shoes in my feet (one in each heel).. well..nicy.. I thought.. It was hurting so much that I took the shoes off and went home (about 5km) shoeless. unfortunately the asphalt (which was more than 40C degrees hot) burned my feet to ulcers and when I got home, I wasn't able to walk any more.. After a week or a bit more, I was on my feet again and really happy about that ^^
