After 4 years I have finally decided to redraw my 2008 Roll Light Fan Art based on the 90's Ruby-Spears Megaman Animated Series! just click the link below to see my original version! x)

Originally the concept of the original and my first Megaman Fanart in DA was to redraw Ruby-Spears Roll and make her look like her video-game cute and all Japanese anime version, back then it was a success for me despite that I didn't even know stuff about Photoshop aside from Layers, and yes I didn't even know how to do shadows and highlights yet but I was still happy and proud with the results, even now, I still am....ahahaha...

Then finally last year after I drew and submitted a piece for Udon's Megaman Tribute (which i didn't get in sadly), I realized how much I improved my Photoshop skills, actually "The Light Family Portrait" was a huuuuuge Photoshop milestone for me! hahaha..Then I decided I wanted to re-Photoshop and re-color the original Roll Light art...but then, as usual I ended up procrastinating, got busy studying for a big, important exam and well something depressing came up after August 2011...but 2012 is good year for me so far and finally one day (last week) I got bored and saw my old Roll art again and finally re-drew her on a scratch paper...AHAHAHAHA...

This time I could actually say she looks "almost" like the video game self with her Ruby-Spear's costume...of course with my own art style...this is yet another Photoshop Milestone for me, why? because for the first time I finally digitally re-inked and cleaned my line-art using CS5 (which i dont usually do cause I'm lazy )...ahahahaha...

a great shout-out to my dearest cousin for always encouraging me to draw and upload something new here in DA...HAHAHA...love ya cuz! ♥

so cheers for another great and prosperous year and have fun with my new version of the new Ruby-Spear's Roll Light!
