Each historical episode is determined by two essential elements: time and space, constant factors that decide its place in the evolution of a human community.
Bran Pass, one of the most important trans-Carpathian passages, had a dynamic history. His story was characterized by two fundamental aspects: the commercial one, as the intersection of important routes and the military one, determined by the recurrent invasions that used these routes.
A natural amphitheater, defended to the east by the Bucegi Mountains and to the west by the Piatra Craiului Massif, the Bran Pass offered, due to its concave shape, a wide panorama, both towards the Barsa Country, as well as to the valley and hills of Moeciu.
This is a beautiful part of my Romania and also here is the famous Castle of Dracula
