Tbh I thought Emerald would just ditch team rwby and go back to the bandit lifestyle, she had before meeting Cinder, once she was in Vacuo, but the v9 epilogue shows she's at the symbolic funeral for team rwby for some reason
She was the one directly responsible for Penny's death the first time so I just find that very tactless of her

It makes me wonder what it would be like if Mercury tried to join the main team, my hunch says that rwby wouldnt give him the same leeway they did to Emerald, even though theyre both guilty of the same crimes.

Ive heard arguments Oscar would vouch for Emerald staying, and you know what? I think he would, though that only makes me want a Ruby/Oscar/Emerald talk about how Penny's death really happened the first time around, just lay everything out and have them come to a conclussion

Anyway, enough rambling, its pretty fun to draw the antagonist characters so frequently nowadays~
