Description
Due to a lack of funds and more so importance during wartime* this was the first series of S.W.O.R.D. service and dress uniforms after the official formation of the unit in 2008. The first uniform pieces were handed to the Administration in the units central in Berlin in late 2012. They replaced the rather wild mix of civilian, Bundeswehr and own combat uniforms that S.W.O.R.D. personnel wore during the European War. Because of this legacy there is still some personal freedom in the way the uniforms are worn and therefore it will probably be never fully uniform in appearance.

These uniforms look very sharp but not ostentatious. What is SWORD?

SWORD is basically a former clandestine operations group pushed into paramilitary service in a fictional European war. The uniforms are part of that transformation and the plain appearance is a nod to the former undercover roots of the unit.

Paramilitary? Who or what are they subordinate to?

The German Bundeswehr. The SWORDs are used as force multipliers with single special forces officers commanding regular military platoon sized units to maximize their effectiveness.

You've still got it man! These look fantastic. Feel free to use my base, it has all kinds of stuff including plenty of German (although mostly not the German you like, there is one Bundeswehr set, though) and German inspired.

Oh and it's not like I dislike the Nazi uniforms actually I think they are the best looking ones around but since my AU is set in modern day Germany an the timeline only changed from the early 90`s it's a bit unlikely to get away with a too similar design I even dropped some details for political correctness.

Political correctness... what details did you drop? Cufftitles (with words on them)?
Oh and quick thing I think the band around the waist on the mess dress should be the same red as other parts instead of green.

The Cufftitles are just not specified in this pic. They show the Bundesland (state) or some special functions.
I originally had some really Wehrmacht-like collars and cuffs on the dress uniform or unit patches with the number on the collar that looked a lot like early SA or SS a lot of small things.
What do you mean with green? There shouldn't be any green on the uniform at all.

Whatever color you want to call it, the chest sash thing under the coat.
As the designer of Panterria I have to say the temptations to copy and paste some Nazi things was and is really tempting, but I hold back.

The color is bit problematic as I noticed. I'm using a really dark monitor setting so it might look a bit strange but I'm working on a fix to that.
And I think you mean the Cummerbund that thing is correct in the same color as the trousers.

I turn my brightness down on my laptop, so I call whatever color I see.
Yeah that thing, making the "Cummerbund" red would be a great move IMO.

^^ Same problem with the brightness.
I thought about making it colored but there is a problem, it doesn't fit the black tie motif I want to have because I would have to make the tie the same color as the cummerbund. It would be even more ridiculous If I would make it in the correct Waffenfarbe for the AiD which would be orange...

Thanks. I'm actually thinking about switching bases but it would be hell to redraw a lot of things. But since I only dislike the arms and head on the original one maybe I'll make my own "bastard" base. BTW have you seen this guys head version before I think it's a pretty brilliant idea. louisvillian.deviantart.com/

Well I would rather see the full version of my head with full details, mannequins can't fight wars.
