Description A drawing on Nepalese paper I tweaked digitally with some sepia and contrast levels. I can't decide if I like this or the original more.... The original doesn't have the nice sepia toning.

Great job! I especially love the lips. Is this person a worshipper of some sacred religion, or merely someone bundled up against the cold, tasting the last snowflake of the year on their lips?

I was thinking of some sort of otherworldly costume. I like your interpretation!

I really like the texture of the paper...I think if you could bring out more tones through staining the paper...it would make interesting effects...however I would save this one picture...just in case the "happy accidents" are not so happy.

Yes, I am planning on staining some of the paper just to see what results I get.

Well of course you can choose to stain your paper even now, with tea or coffee and whatnot, and see how it come through. I like this, the textures are astounding!

I want to and oh I will... I will.
I haven't tried tea yet. Soon. I will try it with the cheap stuff. I prefer to drink my "good stuff". I may try using the leftover leaves after brewing a pot. The Nepalese paper(lama li I think) is from a series of sketch books distributed by Barnes & Noble. Thus far I have found "normal" thickness for sketching and a book with thick paper for glueing things to it. The thick paper can be painted on some with acrylics too.

Haha you could, just have them steep for a few hours to get it really nice and dark.

I'd love to get a hold of that and experiment with collaging!

I have not found larger paper yet but will do some research to see what can be found.

Thank you! It's a really nice texture. I have been trying to find an appropriate sizing for it for more drawing capabilities. So far the paper likes technical pencil and pen. It would probably be great for print making.
