I got that effect once, when two prints had stuck together and I pulled them apart. lol. Your image is wonderful.

I like the unpredictability of this method.
Thank you very much!

I suggest that you could also apply this to make something like coral. It's a good work, but I don't think it comes out as strong as a tree.
Is it also possible to do one colour and then another after?

I can see the look of coral in this.
Adding one color and then another is very possible. To do so the first color that has been applied must be dry then the printing process can be repeated for the next color.

It is brilliant! I love it!
Would you mind me asking , How did you gey the tree branches to that effect?

Thank you!
The branches were made by applying a dab of paint on the painting surface and pressing a piece of paper on top. After pressing, I then pulled the paper away from the painting surface making sure I was pulling from the top edge of the image. For example, if I pulled the paper up from one of the side edges, the branches would be "growing" sideways. If I pulled from the bottom edge, the branches would look more like roots.
Note, the amount of paint will have to be experimented with to get the "just right" look you want.
Good luck!

That's not a bad idea. I made some small animal finger prints for a Montessori school. I could do something similar with the blood.
Thank you!

Wonderful, I don't know how you did it, but I love the technique.

Thank you! I pressed paint onto the surface and lifted. Then I added some drawing to it once I saw an image.

When I looked at the thumbnail, I thought it was a lovely simple piece, but then I looked properly and I could see all the detailed branches. It's so perfect how the paint is all 3D on them and how its thick and fine in all the right places!

Thank you very much! Yes the light has to be just right to see all the branches. I have one painted white and will post it sometime soon. Hopefully it will be received well too.
Thanks again!

I was wondering why this was getting so much attention and was so popular, but until I clicked on it! this is truly amazing! it's looks so difficult to get the veins just right. It looks like its living off the paper great job, keep it up

Thank you very much! Definitely tricky to get the branches/veins to go in the right direction. This one was blind luck.
Thanks again!
