Beautiful as always. c: I love the delicate shading on his face in particular, and the gesture of his hands. <3

What a great character!
His pose is great, and how he seems to fade into the shadows is wonderful!

Oh it's astonishing! I really do like your simple lines, the easy way of communicating with those who look at it (at least for me). Very fine use of shadows as well, and certain details that sort of "blurs" into the scene, out of the frame.

He needs a dialogue. Something along the lines of "Please, can you not see this tree is dying? Help?"

I had thought to add some text but felt it might take away from the drawing. I like for the viewer to make up their own dialogue as well.
Thank you!

Yea, I don't see it ON the drawing, it just kind of popped up in my head. (I've thrown them up in the comment blurb under drawings posted). I'm just a big fan of drawings/paintings that seem to be the start to a story someone can make up and take away with them.

I like it when drawing and paintings can do that as well.

That would be perfect. It made the drawing come alive for me.

I really like how some parts are cast in the shadow, it creates a really good looking perspective ...
