Unit Abilities/Specifications:
- Must rely on internal batteries or external power sources to function due to lack of an S2 Engine.
- Internal batteries have increased power banks, allowing longer operational time.
- Specialized for Close-Quarters-Combat. As a result of this, Unit-02 possesses high-density musculature and a reinforced skeleton.
- Armour plating (primarily red) is composed of composite nano-layers, with a thickness of 12,000 plates.
- Biological mutations have resulted in grey skin, blue blood, and four eyes. As such, camera systems are based in two pairs, matching up with the eyes.
- Arm pylons contain a bank of micro-thrusters, enabling Unit-02 to perform a "raketenfaust" (rocket-fist) attack.
- Shoulder pylons contain specialized containers in their upper halves for weapon storage, as well as a pair of spread-cannons that fire armour-piercing tungsten spikes.
- Emergency punch-blades have been fitted into the forearm plates, giving the pilot an easily usable weapon.

Design Changes:
Is it clear that I love Unit-02? Because I do. It freakin' rocks. So naturally our resident Beast gets the deluxe treatment from me.
First major change; NGE Unit-02 is really skinny. So naturally, NEoE Unit-02 looks like it can punch off another Eva's head, even without using her rockets. This is why Unit-02 is the Production Model, people. A few other biological changes were made to really give Unit-02 a unique body type when compared to other Evas (all my Evas have differing body shapes).
Next, we move onto armour changes. I prefer NGE's colour scheme over RoE's, so that's what we're going with here. I've incorporated the horned crest from Rebuild's Unit-02 into this one's head, but that's really the only major alteration to the helmet. The forearm plates were bulked up significantly, with the other armour receiving a general increase in strength and size as well.
