EDIT: You can tell I've not had much practice shading leather, can't you? Well, this is the final, at any rate, though if someone has shading information that I can touch up easily, I'll gladly take it. So here she is, folks, Rose.Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me. I started coloring her. She's a lot of black, silver and red. It's just block coloring, no shading yet. I'm really just testing out colors. Anyone have any suggestions to maybe change or maybe what looks good and shouldn't?

I can't tell at all. I thought you had spent time coloring leather. This looks great. May I use this as a reference whenever I draw leather? This would be very hlpful. This is awesome. The pose is amazing. That is a very hard perspective, but you did it. Once again, lovely picture.

you can use anything in my gallery as a reference anytime you want. If you say you referenced it, even better, but it's not required.

i reccomend taking more time with background...a single light is fine, but best to do more than a basic gradient...

Thanks, Dojang, but I think I'm done. I don't get paid for backgrounds, and I really dislike them. I was really proud of this one, even though it's simple. But slowly, I'll learn, and I'll look where you suggested to get some points. Arigatou.

my only suggestion is maybe to have the oranger-brown color (the one on her boots) in more places to balance it out more...other than that...i have no words for this spiffyness

the thing is...i like the way her boots look as they are...but maybe...if you want to experimant with the colors...maybe make the main part of the boot the black color, and the lining the reddish brown?...actually...that sounds kinda weird....blah i dunno XD;;
i do like it how it is though....if you dont want to change i could understand that completely
