Description
Then a few of the townsmen turned red as a beetTo behold this celstial stranger to greet,
But they quickly recalled the behaviour to meet
Was to show to the angel their uncovered feet;
So they silently sat themselves down in a line
With their barefeet in front of them, ever so fine,
Showing all their respect to this creature divine
Whose arrival perhaps was a heavenly sign;
And form all of the men there and all the teen boys
There arose not the tiniest trace of a noise,
I could sense that the Dean had recovered some poise
That he'd shed while partaking of ticklefoot joys;
But his manner had changed; it was not quite the same
And I guessed that the Dean felt a burden of shame,
Having suffered defeat while attempting our game
He was clearly preparing to shoulder the blame;
Now my keep jubilation from winning our fight
Could have passed while the angel descended in flight,
I imagined an order that gave me some fright
To resume all our shoes, for the angel had might;
But a look all around made me feel really tight
The dudes' barefeet all glowed in a warm pearly light,
And my heart gave a leap at the wonderful sight
All out barefooters' ticklishness had to be right;
In the silence it seems that our guest made a choice
And then just like a purr from the newest Rolls Royce,
The Dean's angel spoke out in a clear tenor voice
That struck all of our hearts as a call to rejoice;
"My good people," he spoke, "you have no need to fear
For I hold every one of you tenderly dear,
And my presence among you shall bring you good cheer
As this welcome you show me is quite without peer;
I have followed events from a heavenly tier
And I readied myself as this moment drew near,
Let the mighty combatants now make it all clear
Why the Dean of Decorum has summoned me here;

Fortunately, the wait will not be long. I think I had the idea for GA for quite some time, but it took a while to be conceive anything past this point.

I certainly had no clue about introducing GA when the poem started, though earlier rudimentary versions did have a character similar to DD.
