This tribute to one of our enduring characters is a bit of a hybrid. About three years ago, I happened to come across a story whose protagonist, inspired by Sesame Street's Terrible Tickler, decided to carry out a similar regime in real life. It was written by someone (absent for more than three years now) taking "terribletickler" for his name here, who didn't post it here but commissioned a series of drawings to illustrate his version. I decided to make a version of my own, cleaning up the other version a good amount, making a few changes, adding in some substantial bits to the middle, and then completely changing the conclusion, with the addition of eight alternative endings, which are about as long as the rest of the story (the whole comes to about 64 pages).

I've decided to post a recap of where I largely followed the original, a couple of portions from the main body, one of which was entirely my invention and the other at least three-fourths different, and then more or less everything from where my story line goes off on its own and leads to the eight possible endings, each of which will be its own posting.
