Description
Rynog Trepertas, hero of the Tau empire. He was once an imperial guardsmen who defected to Tau after being rescued when his outpost was overrun by tyranid. He soon rose through the ranks and was given his own squad to command. He now leads "the Skulls" as a black op unit assigned to join other tau units deployed should the needs arrise.sometime later I may also include his love interest Te'ela. yay for hot tau girls >_<

I wanted a pure battle suit army, then i tried to use Pirahnas on a objective game and loved the use of drones.
Now i enjoy the hatred in my apponent's eyes when i kill his units with useless little gun drones jumping all over the map XD

that is an awesome feeling, right up there with beating space marines in melee and watching firewarriors gun down a terminator squad ^^

Just bought Remora stealth drone fighters to troll, currently dosed up on 6 XV9s they're really "hazardous" for the enemy actually.

my friends hate it when it's the shooting phase... to them it always takes too long, then i "coward out" with my jet packs and they have to come chase me even more...

My original idea for him came before I got into the game, since then I've had to modify him to match up with the GW fluff
To help with character development I actually had him as a former member of the Death Korp, I hope to expose the drastic changes for him in the comic I'd love to start working on. I envy all of you wonderful artists in the group, the 40k universe is proving more challenging to properly capture artistically than I had imagined.

heh, you and I both. I hope to upload at least the rough sketch of Te'ela then I could upload some of the couple pics I've done for them. I regret that I'm still trying to get used to drawing mecha so that I can do the XVs justice.... especially since they're a big part of the Tau army and thus, my attemptive comic... so few good tau based comics out there really....

indeed, for my army i actually use xv9s and I use Shas'o Ra'Lai. Although for flavor purposes I still have that as Rynog Trepertas. I figured if he were to be a pilot it would most likely be an XV9 since they are larger and would house a former Death Korp of Krieg easier. Once I upload his ref sheet I'll actually make sure to list his history.

biggest pain to them... they are nice though to have sometimes. I've been making the mistake of having a second army that I'm trying to make all Krieg (more forgeworld) Once you get enough money for them though you'll really enjoy them.
They come in alot more parts, but are much more articulate. Any idea which one you want most?

Thanks, I actually did this picture several month's ago, I've been in the process of touching it up and making a presentable version, I've just gotten side-tracked too often.
I'm actually hoping to start his comic series up sometime soon.

Heh, that happens to the best of us, no sweat. Giving things time can be a good thing though too, helps with the recovery of the train of thought.
