Hello Min'na sama!! This is the 5th of the Ancient Egyptian series characters. I've already completed the first set of 12 portraits, which featured the present day YGO character/couples. So now, I'm doing the Ancient Egyptian series! This portrait is of Jono and Maya! In our story, Jono is the Ancient ancestor the present day Joey Wheeler and Maya is the ancestor of Mai Valentine. (Her hair and eyes are black because she's got a bond with Red Eyes, Black Dragon, as Kisara does to Blue Eyes, White Dragon.) They are both not Egyptian by birth, so that is why they aren't as tanned as Atem and Seth, etc. Instead, they are Hebrews, as well as Teana.
It is exactly the same pose as my Joey x Mai portrait and I am continuing this for all the couples! Sort of to attain a kind of "flip" book where just the hair/clothing/details change, but the pose is the same throughout! There will be 4 portraits per couple---Present Day, Ancient Egypt, Medieval England and Atlantis.

Ummmm I always wonder why Japanese people are in Egyptian people. But I recently did some research and I found out that one reason is that Japan did have some history and now its moving up with technology( I usually buy there stuff Its really top-quality) while Egypt had the most Ancient history and is still known for a popular visted country and also unfortunately had and has war. I like Japan but Egypt is infected by Israel and Libya. The world is poor.
