Description
Something totally new for my gallery. This was an old concept I was working on for too long. Despite it's simple look, it has a pretty complicated geometry, being all based upon the geometrical "golden ratio" : 1.618:1 .
Unfortunately, the small size lacks of many of the subtle details there are in the original version (2200x1550) .
I'm not really proud of how it turned out, but I couldn't really look at it anymore, so here is my attempt to forget this scene. Posting it here should make the trick

that 1:1.618 thing is really weird. i learned about it in psychology--we were wacthing a documentary with John Cleese talking about faces. the funny thing is that it really works...
sorry long message

Thank you for the visit.
It's a simple max+vray+photoshop as you can find a ton around these days.

Thank you for the comment.
The glass it's basically a pure black diffuse/ambient with fresnel falloff reflections and transparency set to 30-40% .

Well, you should activate refractions. And, if you are using vray, you could exclude the glass from your primary lighting source (i.e. the sun), and place some rectangular vraylight near the windows.

Great work. It's hard to decide open which grounds to stand on to discern this from reality. You had me fooled at first.
