As for the title...I was thinking of making something xmas themed, and was browsing the net for the tradition behind the red and green colours that are so ubiquitous during this season. But it seems that both colours have different connotations depending on the culture, context, and the times. Even so, as is the case with most art, the intertpretation is the prerogative of the viewer. So it is your opinion of the 'significance of red and green' that is relevant to this piece!
