I will enter this in the 'Solace Between Seasons' contest [[link] ], so some explanatory remarks are in order. I guess the red and green represent festivities of xmas in the winter season, while yellows and oranges represent the fall colours during thanksgiving. Festivities bring solace.

As for the title, fractals are representations of complexity and chaos, but the end result here is a very simple one.
