This is a cheap T-shirt ($5) I picked up in St Petersburg, Russia by a rough-looking (
) guy selling old communist memorabilia.
What's the point of it? Just showing the two totally different directions the Motherland has taken over the century (plus my cheesey taste in clothes 
)

If you want to know...there is somewhere in Russia with a statue of Lenin. After some time a McDonalds was built and it appears that Lenin is acknowleding the building. My best friend went to the Ukraine and that is what he told me.

hey i thought i recognized that! I saw a large painting with that type of design (not totally exact, but had mcdonalds and lenin in the same image) in a market when i visit Moscow spring of 2001. nice!
