Let's be honest, rival gets rekt first battle.
Pokemon have finally made their entrance to F&I after one and a half years, WOO! That's some progress, wouldn't you think?
Unfortunately getting the coloring done for this update took a lot longer than expected because A) procrastination B) school C) loss of motivation D) I'm an idiot and somehow can't do simple shading. I feel a little burnt out but at the same time I want to switch gears and put quantity/story over quality for once. The next few pages will most likely be in black and white to save on time and, theoretically, they'll come out faster too. Theoretically.
And yes, the Squirtle has a name- he'll get one the next update. And no, this comic will never be visually consistent.

Well what are comments for if not to motivate?
i think every comic artist really needs that boost, ya know? Especially if their work is this great. It's an uphill battle for many of us and just not enough people do the cheering as much as they watch thing.
i don't read many comics but the ones that I do I support so much. And Fire & Ice so far is worthy of all my praise.

Yeah, definitely. I need to comment more myself instead of lurking in the shadows XD And it's good to comment on all types of art, even those with varying skill level. Cause I think the people just starting are the ones that need the extra push sometimes. EVERYONE could do with more love, I think we can agree XD But since dA thinned out there isn't enough to go around.

To be completely honest, the first thing I thought when I saw the Squirtle was 'Donahue!'. Actually, your overall style kinda reminds me of wanlingnic . But that's fine, I like it n.n The battle looks absolutely amazing, great action panels!

You know, I think there is a vague similarity in facial type with Gary/Blue/whatever and his bulbasaur... or maybe I'm delusional. not sure.
I love the inspector's face in that second to last panel: "seriously?"

Well, yes. I meant between him and his bulbasaur... like they are very similar. which doesn't make sense because bulbasaurs are such pudgy animals and the inspecta is not. probably just some of the facial expressions.
