Description
Captain Planet's a lame cartoon. Lame villains. Lame kids with rings. Yeah but, why not give them all that attitude. All that angst. More Evil. Then Captain Planet would be like. . . Tyler Durden. - sevenpunks(I dunno if I wanna continue with the rest of the characters.......bort nort)

Too much angst isnt always the perfect hotfix to a whack story.
I find that simply just writing for a SMART audience instead of a bunch of dumb 10 year olds will do just fine.
Case and Point: Voltron: Legendary Defender.
However....I do like the design. The Chest piece looks gorgeously glassy. Very nice!

Nice interpretation, I'm glad you got rid of the mullet.
The emotiveness in the image is superb... I can imgine that the story could be made great if added the element of the emotional burden from the fact that normal people don't care about the wellfare of the planet- I think that would make for a great superhero story. I can't tell what's happening with his pelvic section, if he's nude or not, but the clothig design is excellent, and does give him an alien-like appearance along with the metalic skin. I also like how you incorporated the planetary grid symbol as being a part of his skin/body.

YEAH! AWESOME GOVNR! This is the angst that Captain Planet needs to juice up the story. Now see if you could redraw those crappy rings the Planeteers had.

Captain Pollution is the polar opposite of Captain Planet, created from Doctor Blight's dark variants of the Planeteers' rings. He is summoned when the powers of Deforestation, Super Radiation, Smog, Toxics, and Hate combine, just like Captain Planet and the powers of nature. Also, Captain Pollution gains his power or recharges when surrounded by pollution. In the feature episode, he can be seen bathing in a pool of toxic acid as a way of relaxing.
Captain Pollution is a twisted visage of Captain Planet, with a sickly yellow skin, purple "clothes," a cracked globe emblem, and bright orange hair which grows out of control. His body is covered in orange bumps, quite possibly to represent blisters or sores. He talks in a demented surfer accent, and laughs at the damage he causes.
While Captain Planet is formed in a bright flash of light (excluding the occasions where he would rise from the ground), Captain Pollution's roots are much more sinister: the powers converge, a skeleton forms in the center, and bands of energy wrap around it, bringing Captain Pollution into being. The fact he has an internal skeleton contrasts Captain Planet's crystalline body.
Unlike some hero/villain pairs, Captain Planet and Captain Pollution had no respect for each other. In short, they hated each other. In long, they REALLY hated each other.

Oh yeahhhh! Now i remember him. I got an idea though. Why don't we both collaborate on captain planet "rebirth". re-design everything... cyber-punk style...although, my idea is that GAIA is already a spirit that talks to 'mati' (did i get the spelling right?) 'Mati' as the heart ring becomes an archon...or the keeper of the rings. He is now in search of new 'planeteers' which he finds in the middle of the city...hardcore style kids. I was thinking of combining 'cyber-punk' and 'goth' style into it. then maybe we can present it to cartoon network then pay us for the idea. hahaha. it sounds weird but HEY! might work. Cartoon network will be the one to fix the copyrights from the original (creator) and we get royalties and stuff like that. Whatcha-Think?!? Well....just a thought.
