One of the main characters in my own Icelandic saga
And yep, she's a tough, naughty girl! 
And no, there's no mistake, she is indeed left-handed! This is very important for the course of the story... Originally she's got blonde hair - but inking is so much fun!!

Thanks! Yes, i'm writing an Icelandic saga or rather sort of - i use some of the typical features you find in the sögur, but mix them with styles of classical literature - so you'd rather call it a historical novel. Though it seems as if il'll never finish it...
Btw, do you know Laxness' controversial "Gerpla"? If yes, what do you think of it?

I know about it, Gerpla, but sadly I haven't read it yet 
I have read Íslandsklukku though and I must say it was really good. I've had sort of a down time in reading books lately, since the graduation, but I'll get on the horse again and read some of the new books I have like Laxdæla saga (an Icelandic saga). I must say I'm most interested into the old books and the mythology of the Gods.
When the university starts I'm gonna stop this lazyness and start reading books instead of looking into the hypnotic light of the TV 
P.S.: It's great to talk to you again after long months of exams and working at the post office

Being left-handed is very handy for fighting.
However, being left for a sniper sucks.
Somehow, I doubt she will be a sniper.

Beautiful rendering on the hair, Fabienne. I really like the pose of the character, and the way that the figure is balanced!
You mentioned that you use Copic Muliliners. Have you ever tried a brush for your major linework (for instance, around the outline of the dress). Combined with the fine tip pens, I think you would really like the result.

Yes, i use both a Copic Multiliner with a fine tip and one with a brush tip, usually for the outlines. But i'd also like to try out a quill...what are your experiences with quills?

Using a quill will take a little getting used to, but they are an excellent tool for very fine lines. I primarily use a hawk- or crow-quill for small detail work. Be careful, because they will splatter if there is too much ink loaded in them (you'll need an ink bottle to dip them in).
The best thing to do is to practice for a while on different types of paper to study how the quill reacts to different sufaces. Sometimes the quill will catch on the weave of a rough suface and break the line, so they can be a little difficult to work with.
It seems like you are getting a nice, thin line with your fine tip multiliner. You do such beautiful work, Fabienne. I'm looking forward to your future endeavors!

Thanks a lot for the information on inking with quills!! As soon as i find a hawk- or crow-quill i'll have a try! Maybe i'll ask my friend: she an expert concerning birds and she's surely got some hawk or crow quills left for me!

Oh! So sorry! Actually, the "quills" are metal nibs. They are just called "crow-quill" and "hawk-quill," which I guess is a holdover from the elder days. But they have very, very fine points.
