Another color commission forWas playing around with the colors for a sunset scene. Watching sunsets myself, I try to manipulate the warmness of the sun which the blends off to the cool colors of the night (or during dusk, whichever you prefer). I think I came pretty darn close.

I'm really impressed by the use of colour here and how closely you managed to capture a sunset, at the moment when things start to become fuzzy and indistinct and the sky fills with wondrous colours. If this doesn't say "island paradise", then I don't know what else does. Sandra is indeed adorable and, the most dangerous part, *she knows it*. Which would explain the pose she's striking right now. You could pretty much print this off, wrap it around a bottle of Corona, stick a wedge of lime into the bottle and sit back to enjoy the rest of your night, haha

btw, for those wondering, Sandra did swim out here on her own. Since the day is ending, she'd likely use her magic to 'port or fly herself back to the main beach to join the rest of the crew. Also, this location is not exactly on Earth... it's that same resort world that Shoxxe and Sever have been drawing/colouring of late. For the next pic Sever is colouring for me, you'll get to see yet ANOTHER place in the resort... a really nice place

ItΒ΄s a very beatiful and armoic piece this one. The girl is full of life with that pose with the sunset behind, like she was finishing swiming and ready to return home.
The composition and the coloring is very and very effective.

The original intent of the pic (when I designed it in my head) is pretty much what you have said, and I'm glad that Shoxxe and Sever were able to translate my concept into reality
