It feels like I'm standing on the edge of a beginning. The ground falls away with the sloping hill. I don't know what's ahead; the mist hides all but the nearest trees. It’s cool and quiet, the ferns are blooming, and the scent of the forest is in me now, the pine trees fresh and clean. The pivotal moment is here. Shake of the sleepy feeling of the fog.
