Do you want to see me dump my headcanon shit as well as go all out on a 30-second scene from a 22 minute episode? If so, you've come to the right place! 8D

anyway, so at first mentioning that one scene from the resurrection episode had only been a running gag that was played for laughs, but then I realized its potential in a headcanon, and how it could really affect him had it been constantly brought up like it has been through my art. yes at first he did deserve for it to happen, but still... I've always seen him as someone who was insecure and acted like an asshole as shown in the series, in order to cover up this side of him. one way he does this is by picking on Boomer (and the Puffs) and trying to bring them down to feel better about himself. so he's actually not a narcissist and hates himself. I suppose one of the reasons I thought about this was from "The Boys Are Back In Town" at the end where he was crying the loudest out of his brothers but tried to berate them first. also from QuietLullabies 's sketch (quietlullabies.deviantart.com/… ) which is quite similar to what's here but a bit differently. then eventually Bubbles starts noticing this a bit and tries to find out what's wrong, and although he would usually just shoo her away or simply leave, he did start opening up to her, leading to a sort of friendship between the two but this doesn't happen for a while, probably not until they've hit at least Junior High.

sorry for that, I get the weirdest inspiration for art at night and as I kept thinking about it I decided to bring some headcanons into it. I've also been listening to the song "Wires" by The Neighborhood again lately and its somber theme put me in the mood to draw sad stuff like this. And never have I ever wanted to give a villain a hug as much as I do now.

and holy shit I really need to focus on other characters too... dammit. I'll get to them too... at some point.
