Such a generic dialogue, looks like :’D oh well. I wish I could give this one a better quote but it’s what goes with the scene xD
Eragon was a really fun book for me, so naturally I progressed to the next installments of the saga as they came out. Inheritance, the last book, was interesting enough, but… the thing is, I can barely remember what happened in the entire book because everything fell to the wayside when Nasuada and Murtagh began interacting again xD
It’s sad because I didn’t really pay much attention to their relationship until then. I used to think Eragon and Arya could make a nice pair, perhaps, if they ever got together, but by the fourth book I didn’t give a damn about those two getting together anymore, because it was plain as day that it wasn’t going to happen and it just was really not that great a pair in my eyes anymore at that point.
BUT THESE TWO! Man, they made me suffer for good. I ended up rushing to read fanfiction to save my soul after I finished the book, and fortunately found one that filled me with hopes regarding these two. Because HAHA, of course they didn’t get a happy ending, how could they possibly get one…
Anyhow, Sokka and Azula fit Nasuada and Murtagh so well that I can’t believe I didn’t think of it sooner. Nasuada is the daughter of a resistance leader who takes the Varden into her control, she has no magic, no dragons, but she’s still a badass and a great leader. Murtagh, your usual smart-mouthed jerk with a dark past, he ends up becoming a magic user, a dragon rider, and is forced into obedience of the main bad guy. So really? It’s as close to a genderbent Sokkla as it can get xD
In any case, this project couldn’t end without there being at least one prisoner!Sokka scene. Sokkla just requires it xD if capture fics are a must, so are capture fanarts! (?) So here we go, prisoner Sokka chained down in the bad guy’s lair, and Azula drops by to see him. I can’t remember with precision just what Nasuada’s imprisonment conditions were, but I think I remember she was chained down to a stone on the ground. If not, then I messed up! :’D oh well.
