Description
Crossover scene commission for and part 4 of his series where Axel (pokemon trainer) and his Pikachu have switched bodies from Manaphy's heart swap ability! In this one, Axel seeks out Plyso (my mascot!) AKA "The One Who Controls 3 Elements", for his sage advice on learning how to use his newfound electric powers. As you clearly can see, Plyso is a great teacher and cares very much for his student's growth and achievement.
Thank you for commissioning me and including Plyso in this one! Its been a while since I've drawn my sassy boy and I'm flattered that you remembered him haha xD
(Figured I should mention beforehand that Plyso is not a Raichu nor is he a fakemon lol. Hes been called many things but Raichu was always a weird one to me considering that he's missing many Raichu things)

It reminds me too much of PMD's opening scene where your partner tells you you're a Pokemon.

Again: Excellent work
Also: Finding out how a different body works, must be quite the challenge

He must have his old body back otherwise he will fall victim to the ash’s pikachu situation

Heh, Plyso looks like he's being super helpful here (what the heck are they eating by the way?).
That background looks fantastic by the way, like a lovely painting; I really like how the color effects how distant objects are filtered through a layer of blue sky, and how the mountains/trees/clouds are kinda line-less and shown via changes in color.
The characters are very expressive looking, I like the humor of Plyso in the background being a "great teacher" in the background; I also like how the characters are more typical styled (with outlines, colors and more traditional shading) that helps highlight them a bit (the shading looks great as usual by the way), yet their color schemes seem to blend really well with the rest of the picture.
Great job on this one Seyumei.

Thank you so much! Yeah thats basically my psuedo-anime style there xD

Ah ok, by the time the Pokemon games were coming out I was kinda switching to console so I missed most of those (a lot of them were on gameboy and such, at least at first). Thank you for explaining it to me.
Well it works really well, I'm not an art expert or anything but the way your able to blend the style of the characters with the style of the background is really interesting and it just works really well. See you next time Seyumei, great artwork as always.

Hahaha, wow, I have no idea this is ongoing. Perhaps it'll be until after you reach the part where Axel and Pikachu are switched back to their bodies?
Ooh, an OC! Plyso. Cool name for a mascot! I never seen him before, but he is a cool OC and I even remember him from your DA avatar. Pretty awesome!
Yike... I guess Axel needs to give himself a better 'Spark' so he can easily bring out the 'Thunder'. Hahahahahaha!

Hmm maybe! I dont know how long the series will go, it depends on the commissioner if he wants to keep it going xD (though there is another part coming! but idk if its the end haha)
Yeah this is him!
I havent drawn him in a long time so I didn't expect many people to remember him (other than recognizing him from my avatar xD)
AHHH THE PUN

Ohh. All right.
Wow! He's so cool ! A petomi? Whoa, that's a great name for a celestial being. I should've done something like this one of these days. You seem to be pretty good with your original series. The same goes to your OCs like Plyso here. Keep up the good work!
Uh, just to clarify to be sure, is the finger gesture Plyso did there really that friendly (a friend of mine IRL once told me something about the finger when he saw me doing it and said I wasn't supposed to do the gesture in public, or something like that )?
I actually made two puns. Sorry~! I gotta say something to lighten the mood over Axel's situation with his temporary body.

Oh thank you! I try to keep up with it when I can haha
He's doing the middle finger there (which basically means fuck you, lol) so it was mainly written as a joke xD

No problem! I'm sure you will when you have more time.
Ohh. I guess that must be why my friend told me not to do the finger gesture when I'm in the public. A joke? Oh, good. Hahahaha. That's a relief. I almost thought it would be serious.

im sorry for my unfitting question but, your outlines, are they even on every one of your works? Or do you use sometimes pressure sensitivity to make the line wider/narrower?
And what is better in your opinion? i know its a matter of choice and style but isnt drawing with the sensitivity makes everything a bit harder? like, where do you press harder and where lighter so it will look good. gosh im so sorry if im nagging you, you can delete this comment if you want i dont mind
Also, pika is soooo cute

Do you mean my lineart? I normally have lines on all my art unless its a painting (and yes i use pressure sensitivity haha)
Actually the sensitivity makes it easier for me to draw imo! Without it, my lines look really flat and blocky haha.
Not at all! Thank you! ;v;

WOW thank you for answering :3 you such a nice and warm person i wish you were my friend. <3
anyway, yes i ment lineart (forgot about that word sry...) so as i can see the environment/nature doesnt have lineart but the chars do which is interesting (actually like in anime), and i also noticed you like very VERY thin lines rather than fat lines.
Im currently developing my digital lineart cuz i guess i have parkinson when i draw digital? T_T
Would you like to tell me how many years took for you to stop for your lines to shake and be twisted?
One person told me 6 years the other told 10 years

Ah, yeah it takes a while to get used to a tablet, but for me it probably took 4 years? But as time goes on, your line strokes will look more refined :'D
