Description Yep. This is what I was working on for that month long absence of no animations. But its more like I worked on this only on the last days that I had to show WIPs every week, so probably 4 to 5 days realistically. Its very short so dont worry. You wont waste too much of your time watching it xDΒ

I missed working on animations digitally (its so much easier btw) I'm probably gonna go back to it now that this class is almost over :'D


If you dont recognise these characters, they're Anita and Blietrah . In animated form! No thats not really her voice, I couldn't find a voice (or make a voice) that sounded like her (or what I think she sounds like)


I kinda wanted her to do more, but I was running outta time, so I quickly slapped together what I could xD


Somehow this made my whole class laugh. Successss. Maybe its cuz death is funny.


Sorry I couldnt figure out how to make a pause button for this. D: So you'll have to endure the 45 ish seconds all the way through |D


Uhh that Lion King part was suggested by some friends in my class. :'D IT WASNT MY IDEA. Also the title wasnt me idea either, my teacher suggested it to me. Aren't I creative? 8D

Pretty awesome work here. I hope to eventually make an animation will full sound and effects but currently I'm working on characters, backgrounds, effects.

Interesting that you did it kinda "traditional style", I always kinda figured it would be easier to convert it to digital, but it gives it a nice style I think.

I don't really know what was going on with the lion in the sky or what it was meant to represent, but the "Lion King" sound clip made me laugh.

I gotta figure out how you have this linked to Youtube and Deviant art at the same time, I always kinda figured you had to do one or the other?

Also do you Flash? or some other animation program?

Anyway, great work on this.

I originally wanted to do it digitally but i realized i'd get more done traditionally, since I can work on it at school (since this was a school assignment xD)

Yeahaha xD Some friends in my class said i should put that in (after they saw my tiger character with the blank eyes haha)

I use photoshop and flash for digital animation ^^ For this one, I just used paper and scanned it in xD

Ah ok, I don't think I've seen a traditional animation on DA before.

It was definitely funny, made for a better ending than contemplating if she got crushed or not. Ha ha

Yeah, typically I can either trace over a scanned image or draw my lines over someone else's lines. Still scanning the frames sheet by sheet must have been difficult, I salute your determination.

Theres quite a bunch actually if you check out the pencil test category on DA. Those are all traditional animations i think. Ah yeah thats the most annoying part of trad animation xD MUCH easier to do animation digitally when it comes to that.

Yeah, the first digital animation we did using drawings on MS paint and space backgrounds from a digital art site called "Digital blasphemy".

We actually had something else planned entirely, but the school servers went down a lot and our other project was deleted 8 weeks into a 10 week term.

So yeah, we Frankenstein'ed a few crappy drawings I had made in MS paint with some cool space backgrounds and "volia" our first animation. Though my animation partner eventually had to go do other things.

Hmm, I can't image doing one from scratch like that. Glad we just did digital to begin with, I'm even more terrible at traditional drawing than I am with digital drawing.
