Description It is finally finished. As you can probably guess, Sonar Ping is visiting the grave of his fallen father Ping Jockey. Ping Jockey was the CO of the UNS Unikriegn Pride and was killed with the rest of the crew when they were ambushed by Griffons. Ping Jockey attempted to save his crew and his ship by full steaming to the nearest port but when they knocked out the engines, all was hopeless. Instead of surrendering Ping Jockey ordered all to fight to the last breath. The battle went on for 30 min, but in the end the Griffons out manned and out gunned the stranded ship and sunk it. Ping Jockey was awarded the Medal of Valor. Unikriegn's second highest military honor.

Also I would like to say that I know that the horn is all kinds of jacked up. I am more of a writer than an artist so please don't remind me in the comments. I worked hard on this.

A soldier walks through Arlington, his head bowed to the ground

His eyes meet the horizon as he looks around

So many markers, so many graves

He prays that no one ever forgets

The price they paid

(From my song 'Prayer of a Soldier. Β It just seemed to fit. It makes more sense when you hear the whole song but this is the part that really applied.)

I feel your pain being more of a writer than an artist. This is really good though, I bet it took you awhile.

Metal of Honor(USA) and The [insert royals name here] Cross(UK) defnatelly have to be one of the few metals that mean less when the loss is greater. I should know, I had a freind even if it was for a short while that earned one, that it takes more than just a sharp witted and skilled person to earn it.

The last honarable war produced more than any could say about it. Even so, we protected countries that are now on the verge of collaps. Soldiers at least know the risk. Politions don't even have to deal with it most times.

Metals... worthless. Character and experince, that is what lasts.

Reminds me of Saving Private Ryan. Gory movie, but also an excellent movie for story and music

mm... it's even worse when you're the one in the ceremony pulling that trigger for the 21 gun salute... for some one you used to consider a brother
