Velvet is from 'Tales of Berseria' Aka. Best game ever.I looooove Velvet's shift from caring young woman to ultimate edgelord. However, I found it almost ridiculous how bubbly she was at the start of the game, she pretty much became a completely different person.
So just wanted to do a small comic comparison of her development XDD
Also, this game is amazing, its perfect and its brilliant, CAN'T EXPRESS HOW AMAZING IT IS.

When I bought the game, I expected Velvet's voice actress to sound like Shantae the entire time (Oh BTW Cristina Valenzuela is the voice of Velvet and Shantae). And she did at first.
Then the 'incident.'
Wow that was a 180. I guess going crazy seeing the shit she does ages your throat a bit XD. Now she sounds like Risky Boots trying to sound like Shadow the Hedgehog by acting like Solid Snake. XD

Honestly, I've heard Cristina Valenzuela before in lots of anime dubs and other games (she also voiced Nova in TOX 2)
So I knew her incredibly dynamic vocal range, but haha I didn't expect her to pull her full on sweet voice for pre-incident Velvet XDDD
Her voice is spectacular as the main game Velvet!!!
I KNOW RIGHT!!??? Such a change. but I really like how in dreams her voice goes back to her innocent self (I'm still early in the game)

It really is! Velvet's one of the more crafty Tales protagonists. I prefer Luke (Abyss is my favorite Tales and my third favorite game period), if only because he goes through so much character development, but in terms of brutality and effectiveness and efficiency, Velvet gets shit done.

I still haven't gotten far in Berseria yet, But I agree with you, Velvet's 'Get things done' attitude is really amazing.

Yay, finally some Tales of fanart from you again!
I must confess that I love Velvet. From all the heroines I know she is definitely somewhere in the top 10, because she leaves such an impact on the player. Her character development is well explained and I can't help but like her, because after all she has been through and all the struggles she still never gives up. Your fanworks sums her up nicely and I freaking love how her facial expression change.
The cute and dorky Velvet is amazing and it's looks so cute how you have drawn her face. Her long eye-leashes, her big round smile and the way she raises her shoulders. Although I think you colored a part of her clothes wrong. A part of her hair looks like her left shoulder. Other than that I simply love her here. β₯
The always annoyed and angry Velvet is pretty cool, too. But I must say that I see many little mistakes here as you often drew over the lines and there is even a red string on her cheek that doesn't seem to belong there. Maybe you were in a hurry and didn't see it. Love her dark expression here, especially how the shade of her hair covers a part of her face and makes her look all the more dangerous. Moreover I like that you used green and red as background colors because emphasize the change of personality pretty well.

Yeah it is a role reversal in that sense, and her story gets really solemn and epic!! Except, the 'dark lord' she's after is actually hailed as the saviour of the world. She technically represents everything evil in that world.
[Also sorry I'm gonna be biased, cause I love everything Tales based and this game is perfection XDD]
