A look at the palm. I could have made the palm of the hand covered, but I wanted more freedom of movement in the palm itself. I can wear glove both under and over the bracer, if I like.Related content

Oh yeah. They can be really nasty!
There was a guy one summer at the viking centre who had a 50-55 pound-ish longbow.
It snapped one day and hit his arm. The bruise looked like something pointy had
pierced his arm!

I actually had a sort of callus on my left arm- wayyy back when I shot competitively... Now, I'm all soft and would scream like an angry 2-year-old if I got a string whack!
