Funny things happen when you go out to take photos, sometimes you see things you have never seen before. While out looking for owls, I was shown this mink by a creek next to a bridge. Amazing animal, good swimmer, able to squeeze between these rocks. I suspect their den is in the rocks, watched them bring leaves and grasses into the holes. They also keep fish they have caught stashed in the grasses along the creek.Taken in Fish Creek Provincial Park, Calgary Alberta Canada

First mink I have seen in the wild, looks like they are setting up a den in the rocks, I will keep checking to see if any little ones appear in a couple weeks.
