I feel like... I needed a bigger map haha. But I tried for the best summary I could;; Most of my influences kind of relate to each other, while some are kind of out-of-place and inspire me in their own ways.

I counted science fiction and robots/mecha separately because I grew up mostly on robots-- Power Rangers, The Big O, the many many Gundam series, Evangelion, so they're a big part of me in themselves. I practically raised myself on the idea of BEING A BEAUTIFUL MACHINE AND KICKING SOME ASS.

Rachel M Buske-- *rei-chaka -- isn't just a good friend and designer I respect, but the woman herself acts as my muse. She's like a bunch of my ideals personified, and I feed off of her energy.

Animation's of course huge for me, because my mind works in transitions of images. Movement, rotation, distortion, color, everything-- they all excite the shitballs out of me. And while most of my influences don't literally translate into my artwork, they definitely fuel me!

And of course Utena shaped the kind of person I ended up growing into, and I've rewatched it at different points of my life and always get something new. This series influenced my ideas of gender, hierarchy, anarchy-- and the beautiful organic art style from both the manga and anime * 3 *
