It feels weird for there to be a dark version of this character. I remember when it was a teenage shenanigans sort of thing, now itβs some shenanigans and Satan lol awesome work here

I agree. Not sure why the Archie gang is so prone to weirdness. They do weird stuff with with them in the comics too. Like Archie vs. Punisher or Archie vs. The Predator. Weird, silly comics that shouldn't work but they kinda do, ya know? Also their horror line. I guess they're just like, "These characters have been around for a zillion years. We gotta keep it new and fresh. Let's do LITERALLY whatever we can think of with them."
