Description
Just 'cause it reminds me of candy when I look at it
Sketched this out on paper before scanning, inking, and coloring it using Photoshop.
Trying out something new.

Made the pink brighter as suggested by and realized that, yeah, it looks better brighter
Forgot to mention that I was inspired by Alessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa's art who are known for their work on W.I.T.C.H...but have recently captured my attention and imagination with their work on Sky Doll

I love the colors here, as well as the lineart. Very smooth and nice.

You could achieve lines like that using the pen tool in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

*nods* Oh yeah, Huey from the Boondocks....Every now and then I desire to change my avatar, but Huey just goes well with the name Mr. Controversial. So it's stuck like that.
Also, do you use the pressure sensitive option for the pen tool in Photoshop? Just curious. And you're welcome.

About the lines...hmm, how do I explain? 
I first choose one of the default hard brushes on Adobe Photoshop that create a line which tapers on each end. Make sure that the opacity and flow is at 100%. Then I...
> make a path with the pen tool
> right click the path
> select "stroke path...",
> select "Brush" as your tool and put a check on the "simulate pressure" box
> click "ok" and you've got a nice tapered line!
Of course, you could make a few adjustments here and there to achieve the kind of line that you'd want...minimum diameter, brush size, etc.

I think some higher contrast colors(like a brighter pink) would've improved this 10x, but she's still sharp and shiny and expressive. it was her big smile that got me to click on the thumbnail :0 cute!
