"Ustuk. The dwarven traders said they saw a column of Orc raiders to the southwest, heading to the oasis of Biyu-Dufunta"

"Orcs. Antorian Orcs? Or Kaiehm orcs"

"Tall orcs larger than a wardrove, riding War Wargs that are larger than horses."

"It never can be an easy work, isn't it? How many? a dozen?"

"Sixty"

"Damn. A while war party"

"Don't worry. We don't need to take hem out! Only track them and figure where they are going!!"

"And to HOPE they don't find us out first!"

"Stop growling Ustuk and ride. We have work to do!"

Ustuk however keep growling over the back of his 'kazaak' riding dragon. "Join the Caliphal Army, they said. You will see the world, they said!" he grumbled.

A Patrol of the Caliphate of the Orange Sun of Blazakhov, guarding the plains of Antor.

The Blazakhovian are Kanovs, and use, as well horses, a small race of dragon of the grasslands, wingless, called the Kazaak.

The Free City of Blazakhov, was originally a colony of Zannas, but with the centuries, it became not only independent, but an empire in their own, extending their influence in the Caruzimb Sea, and after that, to most of Ushaenor.

However, fundamental to the history of Blazakhov, was the convertion -after the annextion of Farsia- to the Muslim faith, as a way to define they culture, in oposition to their enemies of Uslen, a Ortodox christian kingdom.

And that convertion to the new faith give new impulse to the Blazakhovian for expansions -as was an excuse used by the Karentian Christian Sargonics in the north- until both empires finally crushed against each other.

I've always liked this pic.  I don't know why I've never faved it before.

The background has more vegetation than I originally imagined.

Nice, but...
They don't really look like dragons, they are more like dinosaurs...

Meh. But is more easy to clasificate them in fantasy as dragons, rather than dinosaurs

This is the logic in my fantasy world: some dinosaurs survived.

However, the people who know them didn't called them dinosaurs, but dragons, in a general way.

But within the dragons, there are several types -worms, draaks, etc- as well "smaller cousins" as the "Kazaak", bipedal dragons of the grasslands
