When the Orc Queen ordered him to go to the mountains of Kaiehm as ambassador of the Orc horde of the Plains of Antor, to concert an alliance with the orcs and goblin tribes of the great mountain, against the enemies of orcs.

The first thing Trinchatripas did then, was to protest. But he allways protest and complain, so it wasn't something new.

"I don't want to go!" he protested.

"I order you to go as volunteer!!" said the Orc Queen, lossing her temper.

"You can't do that!"

"Yes I can! That's why I'm a queen!"

"But why me? You can send anybody else! I don't want to!"

"You are a hobgoblin" she said. "You father was a goblin. You will be the best emissary we can have, if we want to speak with the goblins!"

"Well, I don't know how to speak goblin, anyway! So I'm not going!"

"You are going!"

"Not!"

But in the end, the Queen give him some options. To go as ambassador, or to be hanged from the toes from the walls of the entrenched camp. So he become the voluntary emissary...

But Trinchatripas had been voluntered by the chiefs many times before, and so the hobgoblin still remained in the camp, allways giving an excuse for his delays, giving one or other excuse.

Until, annoyed by the attitude, the Orc Queen ordered him to go the next day, and in front of his excuses of ignoring the language of the orcs and goblins of Kaiehm, the Orc Queen said that she was to provide with a goblin translator.

"Surely I wasn't expecting this when they told me we had a goblin Interpreter" said trinchatripas.

Kuku, who as soon entered in the hut of Trinchatripas went, hungry, to gnaw some bones and skins from Trinchatripas's dinner, looked up to him, with the mouth full.

"I'm a goblin!" the elf said...

I completely forgot about this drawing!
I sketched it originally a week before the birthday of Number-Seventeen (last week of octover 2012) as a birthday gift, as he like the hobgoblin character Trinchatripas and wanted to see more of him.

I didn't had it ready for that date, and I sketched some more of it later in early november... and then, I forget completely about it, and while looking in some of my notebooks for some references for a commission, I found the sketch, and decided to finally ink it!!

So, it's a very, very, very late birthday gift for XD
