Great tutorial, you explained step by step, and told why the shadows and lights had to be aplied, in some tutorials they doesnt explain why and just make them, this is a great help, thank you for share
One question, you know why sometimes artist say to put purple in skin?

Uhmmm the colors in the skin depend on the lighting of the scene...
when the lights have a bit of yellow... the shadow turns into the complementary color (purple in this case)

Remember: the skin have several colors (yellow, purple, green, blue...etc) but they are so subtles
