Gah! I had to jump through some stupid hoops to keep the colors from washing out!Anyway, I'm pretty proud of how this turned out overall I think that I'm starting to improve on rendering water, grass, and dew drops, which is great! I think the raindrops themselves could still use some more work though. I think my favorite part of the picture are the mushrooms. C:

You've done well to prevent the colours from washing out - difficult to do with a dark pallete. It's nicely atmospheric too with the little Toad person sheltering from the rain. Some of the shading looks a little lumpy in places though.

Yeah, I think the slightly lumpy shading definitely something to improve on with future studies. I think the grass could use the most work in terms of more consistent shading, with the water coming in second.

It takes one to know one when it comes to tricky shading. Having said that, feet are my bete noir...
