Because Lauren and I are completely obsessed with The Lion King. In particular, "I Just Can't Wait To Be King". Then we got the best idea. A Flash collaboration with Ashli.Just watch this and just imagine Ashli, Wyvern, and Chatot. I'll wait. [link]
Wasn't it beautiful? Yes, I realize that we're insane. After all, Lauren and I are only amateur animators, but it'll be great practice. Plus, It'll be just friggin' AWESOME when it's finished. <3
So, these are some concept sketches I did for MY part of the collab. I'm animating Chatot Zazu. X3
Also, at the top is Simba in my style. You know... in case you couldn't tell.

I also love when Zazu's all "STOP." or something when they hit the elephant graveyard because he sounds all echoing and badass.
