Somethings are needless to say,
We dive into the darkness
When everything fades to gray...

Such an inspiring song it is, Sonata Actica's "Everything Fades To Gray" I mean. I was struck by inspiration as if it was a lightning that struck me. I just had to paint this one. It's not vent art or anything, just something that suddenly popped in my mind. The original title and idea was simply "Falling" but I thought it was boring so I coloured it up a little with the help of previously mentioned song. I fixed the title a bit, I think 'fall' was better than 'dive' since the dragon is obviously falling and has almost given up struggling to get back up.
I like how this turned out. It was nice to paint something not so colourful for a change. And of course it had to be a dragon; I love drawing membrane wings.
What's more, I finally managed to create some nice salt textures! I think the whole darkness/cloud/smoke thing looks very nice altogether.
