Description
Wow, such a creative title! I've totally outdone myself this time. Alternative title would be "The Ancient TM". Think about it, how did people teach their Pokemon new moves when they didn't have the modern technology? They must've had scrolls like this.Another painting in the Japanese painting style. This one is a little simpler than the one I did earlier. I've always found ancient scrolls fascinating and especially the ones that describe different techniques etc. When I got this idea I just had to do it - and with Mienshao because he's my favourite fighting type Pokemon and one of my favourites from the 5th gen. At first this didn't seem to come out as I wanted. Actually, it was pretty damn hard to draw those poses and make them fit Mienshao's anatomy. Now when I look at this I think it came out pretty much as I wanted.
Oh, and before anyone starts asking, the moves pictured in the scroll are some kung fu moves I found when I Google'd 'kung fu' so I'm not sure if they're actual kung fu moves. Google isn't too reliable. Well, at least they look like martial art moves and I think it's enough. Kung fu moves painted in a Japanese style is another issue...
Anyway, I hope you like it!
More of this style coming soon.

I actually love how you drew this, it's amazing. I like Martial Arts too, and Mienshao fits it perfectly! I hope you can draw more of Mienshao doing some Kung Fu moves. :3

I'd really love to draw more kung fu moves but first I need to find more moves I can draw. Perhaps I should visit a library.

mienshao, and this looks so lovely~
The tm scroll was a nice touch! The next one, you should just invent some poses in order to learn an actual tm

That's actually a great idea! I might try to draw a "TM scroll" of one move later.

Cleanly done, and you're right Mienshao is a 5th gen that at least DOESN'T suck in terms of design, altough it still requires some getting used to. The best fighters remain Primeape, Blaziken, Medicham and Hariyama though in my opinion ^^

For a person like me who isn't a fan of fighting type Pokemon Mienshao is just perfect. I think the only fighting type Pokemon I've even liked or used before is Blaziken. Lucario is okay but I've never used it or cared much about it because it's do damn over-popular.
I have yet to train a Mienshao, though. I think I'll catch one in my White and make it part of my very first EV trained team. That team lacked some members anyway.
