[On Tumblr]This year's annual bookmark set is of none other than Pokemon GO! I wanted to go something different, something that would pop a bit and I decided to retouch the rectangular format. Cutting these bookmarks won't be easy but hell, I'm willing to work hard to get there bookmarks done. The original has sparkly metallic ink on the symbols: bronze for Moltres, gold for Zapdos and silver for Articuno. I'll also paint the symbols on the printed bookmarks to have this fabulous effect.
I streamed the process from sketch to finish and it was really fun. Working on traditional art really is something special.

Nice job on the plumage, especially Zapdos. I like how you worked its head feathers especially, as opposed to keeping them bunched up like it's depicted in game

Niin vain tahtoisin Zapdosin kirjojeni väliin kurkistelemaan. Tyksin muuten kovasti ideasta antaa jokaiselle linnulle eri metallit. Tietty mahtavuutta, että juuri Zapdosilla on metalleista kirkkain, hih!

i love it, tho team mystic's symbol isnt a perfect octogon. the bottom edge is a point. (i made the same mistake on a TON of product recently. T.T)

Glad you like them! I'll be printing and laminating them to sell at a convention next weekend. Leftovers will be sold here but if it seems there won't be any and enough people want these bookmarks I can do a second round just for internet people.
