POKEDDEX: YOUR CHOICE! VOL 2 has officially begun! During January 2019 I will draw one Pokémon each day based on the suggestions that you guys have sent me. Each Pokémon has been chosen with a poll so all the power is in your hands. Also by your request I will be submitting each painting individually. Usually I just post them as a single dump but I decided to try something different. Let's see how this works! I might still post a compilation of all paintings when they're done.

You voted Phantump for the Ghost type Pokémon of choice! Now, this one was a challenge. Up until now the Pokémon I have drawn have been easy but Phantump was a design challenge. I have seen a few very cool interpretations of this Pokémon, a squid and a hermit crab to name a few, but I didn't want to do the same so I challenged myself to think outside of the box and went with a mammalian, primate creature. Another reason for choosing was the fact that Phantump and Trevenant are forest dwellers so I wanted to do something that fits those lines. I went with another aye-aye based design due to all the ghost stories and beliefs surrounding these creatures. They have a nice forest spirit feel to them! Now I really wanna try to do Trevenant as well!
