Finally finishing up this Smaugust challenge! I started this challenge last year but didn't manage to complete it. I'm now almost done with the remaining pieces and I'll be posting them in the following days!. You can find the prompt list here .

The green tree swallow dragon is known for being relatively harmless and for having gorgeous iridescent plumage. This dragon mainly eats small animals and shows no particular interest in human settlements. They may sometimes nest in abandoned buildings if suitable trees are scarce. What most people aren't aware of is their migration pattern. In spring and autumn these dragons form enormous flocks that travel together. They are some of the fastest and most skilled flyers among dragons and a migrating flock can whip up a whirlwind. These whirlwinds sometimes grow into actual tornadoes, which is why flocks of green swallow dragons are often referred to as "dragon tornadoes".
