My entry for 's Normal type collab!

More birds! The female Unfezant has to be one of the most forgettable Pokémon to ever exist. Personally I have never given it much thought before and even while working on this piece it was quite hard to see it in a new light. Usually when I draw a Pokémon I find at least one cool new aspect about it but with Unfezant...not really. I don't dislike it and it's a bird so working on this was super fun! It's just a very plain, normal Pokémon.

I looked up lots of different pheasants and there was one thing that all species had in common: the females all looked pretty much the same. Dull, brown/grey, around the same shape and all that. Had this been a male Unfezant I would've had so many cool and crazy references. Female pheasants are so plain that in the end I decided that I'm not even going with one specific species and made my interpretation a very generic female pheasant and combined features from here and there.

The least I could do for Unfezant F was to give it a cool pose! What I found nice was that it's actually described to be better at flying than its male counterpart so I wanted to make it seem graceful. I feel kinda sorry for this Pokémon but at least I was able to give it some more love!
