Never let me write a title for anything if it's 6am.A small speedpaint practise of Pecks the Fearow from 's Nuzlocke.
I've been wanting to draw Pecks for a while because he's so awesome, definitely my favourite from Yin's comic. Today I happened to be in the mood for big badass birds and I've wanted to draw a picture with this colour scheme for so long. I know I have a lot of other stuff to do but there's not really much I can do when I get inspired like this.

The rear wing looks like you spent more time on it. But the front one seems like you fell into a redundant dragging of the brush...almost as it you just....really wanted to get it done.
The short feathers it seems more apparent. They look like single strokes with a 45% opacity.

Well, you could've said that in the first place. I appreciate constructive criticism on my artwork but your first comment was just plain rude and I can't really say your reply is that good either. At least you explained it, which I appreciate. But you might want to take notice of the fact that this is actually a speedpainting. Personally I'd define speedpainting something that concentrates more on the form, colour and the shading than minor details like feathers. If you take a closer look, you'll notice pretty much everything is a little sloppy, and that is intended. I have to admit that the front wing was one of the last things I worked on and that finishing a picture 5am doesn't really encourage you to spend too much time on details. But you have a point.

Haha, yeah, the colour and pretty much everything about this picture is soft but that's just because I wanted to experiment the style. Might not fit Pecks but oh well.
I could make a tutorial about how I draw birds if I have motivation/time some time.

The background is so nice and Fearow looks amazing. Though I didn't do a Nuzlocke challenge with my Fearow, she was extremley helpful against the elite four in Heartgold. Once again, top notch!
