Alright, I got a few questions for yeh...
A) Do you know how old Master Chief is?
B) Why does the Covenant want to 'Deastroy all humans'?
C) Why do ODST's loath the Spartans?
I gotta lot more, but will only ask 3 questions per day.

A.)well the true age of the chief could be dertermined by looking on halopediea and finding the date that John S-117 aka Master Chief was taken by Dr.halsy for the spartan program and then find the end date of halo 3 where chiefs story subsequently ends. in all certanty though i can tell you that chief is no OLD man as people would think because of the cryogenic technologys at the UNSC dispossal that alow the chiefs physical body to be frozen and preserved in the time bettween his events.
B.)The covanant refers to humans as the unclean and make there opinion known that we should be exterminated to clear there way to there so called acendency by means of forrunner technologys which they subsequently use in all of there own tech from armor systems to full battle crusers. the being that started all this hate was known widely as the profet of truth a high profet in the covanant religious monarchy pretty much king covi (lol the profets species is diffrent from grunts jackels brutes hunters and eliets though) ;before the profet was one how ever he learned from a damaged forunner A.I. that the covanants path is a lie (Truth quickely lied to the rest of the council and the two others in the room were quickly pursuaded by Truth) also around the time humans were discovered on harvest and due to some occurance cough* human tech looked a lot like forrunner tech and the covanant were very much interested in the forunner tech not the humans. An envoy of brutes was sent to make contact with the humans and things went sour in that picknick lol the book "Halo Contact Harvest" is where this takes place. The profet seeing and knowing that there path is a lie and that humans are somehow conneted to the foreruners quickley declaires a holy war to extenguish the human race and obtain the forunner objects that may or may not be there.
C.)The ODSTs dont like any one realy because they are/were considered the best of the best and everyone else is pond scum lol. ODSTs espesially dont like Spartans commenting that they are augmented "freaks" and that the war needs more "human" warriors, also animosity is due to jeliousy of the spartans abilitys. Though most odsts portrayed in the books seem to dislike spartans im willing to bet that not all dislike the spartans in fact one of the great qualitys of the spartans are that they enspire hope that the war is winnable, or at least surivable.
