one of my favorite pictures of momo

i took it with my old stupid camera that i hate so the date is wrong. i took this a week or two before she ran away 12/23/10. she and her sister weren't even born 1/1/2007! they were born ether spring or summer 2009

anyway, i took this into photo-shop and cropped it then enhanced the color in her eyes.
i've always loved her eyes the most. though she was rather timid and sweet, her eyes always held a certain predatory fierceness that i just adored. they looked like the eyes of a dragon i always thought.

she was smarter than her sister too. michi would jump and flail at the cat toy on a string swinging above there heads and wouldn't catch it. momo on the other hand, would stand off to the side watching intently, waiting for the perfect moment. next thing you know the string has been yanked out of your hand and she's got the toy on the floor holding on to it with both paws. a precise and calculated leap-n-grab may not be as cute as random-jumping-back-flippy-flails, but it's certainly more effective

._. i miss her

i miss the way she and her sister would race through the house FIRST thing in the morning (5 am or earlier!).
i miss seeing them cuddled up on each other on the little rug in front of the pellet stove sleeping the day away.
i miss how she slept curled up in baskets, bowls on plates or any thing nest like.
i miss watching michi pal around with her best friend, the poor thing is so bored that she'll race you to the bathroom if she thinks you're headed that way. she does rounds like a security guard "any thing change in here? how bout here, anything new? no? *sigh* guess i'll just go jump over the dog if shes sleeping on the floor. if not, there's always the shoes to jump over :/ "
it's so sad! she NEEDS a friend (phill doesn't count, she plays mean! moose hates her because he's jealous of her cuteness, and sasha is just afraid of anything that moves )

ok, now i'm rambling and it's 2am.
